02. WHAT’S MY PHOTOGRAPHY StylE?
Before you book your photo shoot in Paris, you should have a look at my photo book / portfolio first to see if it fits your photo style and make sure it is really what you’re looking for. I usually like to capture a mix of natural poses and candid shots. Above all, I like to create authentic images that are real, strong, and emotional while creative at the same time. I like to play with the light, movements, colours, nature, and everything around.
If you’re looking to do a hundred posed shots which are all the same, then I may not be the right photographer for you, and it is fine. There are hundreds of excellent professional photographers out there that might fit your style and needs.

04. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR for the PHOTO sessioN?
The photos will be yours so you should perfectly feel comfortable with yourself during the session. I will never ask you to do something you feel uncomfortable with. However, a photoshoot is a very special occasion and opportunity to be elegant and well dressed (it does not happen every single day) so you should take the opportunity to wear something different than usual. If you're looking for something specific, then we can work out something together and look for further photography inspiration. We can also exchange inspiration boards and select the type of photos and outfit you’d like to wear. Accessories and other props are always a good idea and can add a classy touch to the final results. Above all, the most important thing is to feel comfortable with yourself as I mentioned previously. As Oscar Wilde said : “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken”.
05. Booking & payment OF YOUR SESSION:WHAT ARE THE STEPS?
It’s important for me to know in advance and as soon as you know the date of your photography session so I can lock it in my agenda. During the high season, bookings fill up pretty fast so it’s better to make plans as early as possible. Once you've selected the appropriate photo package that fits you and decided to proceed with the reservation, I usually ask for a minimum of 20% deposit to be paid by credit card to secure the booking. The rest of the payment can be made after the photoshoot either by cash or by credit card.
06. Post-proCESSING & RETOUCHING:HOW DO I PROCEED?
All the uploaded images in your private gallery are going through a post-production process that improves their color and vibrancy as well as adjusting exposure and contrast to get the best result. Some of the images will get through final retouching to get the perfect look and/or some special desired effects. In some special cases and upon request for one or two pictures, I can exceptionally remove objects in backgrounds but this will not be made automatically for all the photos in the gallery.
07. PHOTO DELIVERY:WHEN & HOW DO I GET THE IMAGES?
The final images will be hosted in a private gallery (accessible only with a password) in which you'll be able to select your best photos by creating your favorite list. I usually ask you to create your favorite list within 3-5 days after you’ve received the link to access the photo gallery. If you’re still traveling and can’t make your selection within the timeframe requested, you can ask for an extension time to create your favorite list. If I don’t receive your selection after 5 days, the link to the gallery will automatically be removed together with the photos. After that, you will need to pay an additional fee to re-activate the link to access the image gallery again. There will be a choice of between 50-80 photos for a selection of 15-25 images depending on the pack you've chosen. After you've made your selection, I'll send you a pin number to download all the selected photos in high resolution and in various formats. It usually takes 7-15 days for me (depending on the time of the year) to work on your photos to get the best result. If the pictures are ready before the announced timeline, it will be then delivered before. Once you receive your pin number to download your photo selection, this should also be done in the next 3-5 days, otherwise the access link will be deactivated to space up the photo gallery.
08. WHAT ARE THE BEST LOCATIONS FOR A PHOTOSHOOT IN PARIS?
09. HOW SHOULD I POSE IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA?
If you don’t feel comfortable in front of the camera and you don’t like pictures of yourself, let me tell you a secret : it’s perfectly normal as most people don’t, so you’re not an exception ! But the good news is : you don’t need to worry too much about it, this is why you hire a professional photographer to help you. Posing, guiding and making you feel comfortable in front of the camera is part of my job even though you've never done a photo shoot before. Each photo session package includes a short 20 min Skype session or phone call before you travel to Paris so we get to know each other and that you can feel more prepared and relaxed once we meet. I will guide you through different poses to get what I want on the photos and make sure also that this is what you want. Interactions with your partner or children, movement and being playful will help create natural and authentic photos that are real and emotional.
10. WHAT ABOUT IF IT RAINS? CAN WE RESCHEDULE THE PHOTO SESSION TO ANOTHER DAY?
I usually check the weather forecast at least one week before our photo session and every day until we meet to make sure we can do it in the best conditions. Sometimes, we might be unlucky and the weather may not be appropriate on the day of our photo shoot, these things happen of course and we can’t control it. However, I remain flexible in case we have to postpone our photo session in Paris and we can always reschedule it to another day to fit our common agendas. In the worst case scenario, I can always find a pretty covered passage or bridge where we could do our private session in better conditions. Another option is to use an umbrella for a romantic shoot under the rain !
